You should have a second section for the encrypted files, let's call it It will have a type of crypt and it's remote will be something like gsuite:crypt You should have one called something like this is the unencrypted drive. In your nf you have some sections for each Google Drive folder you are going to mount. I can see and play the files on Google Drive. With rclone though - I'm not entirely sure if it's being encrypted. I know StableBit costs $$$, but I wanted to be sure of my options before pushing forward. I am a bit hesitant with rclone because I have had issues setting it up and not working (mainly because of my lack of knowledge regarding Linux). Now because I use Google Drive as my primary source to play media, I was wondering whether I should continue using rclone or use other apps like Google's File Stream or StableBit or etc. I'll install Windows 10 on my build later on today and probably run ubuntu virtualized for some Linux Apps (rather than having two separate partitions). I tried to set everything up in Ubuntu, but after facing a few errors and issues, I figured I should just do the smart thing and use something more comfortable like Windows. I have a computer that I am going to turn into a Plex server + cloud storage server + etc. The transfer is rclone encrypted and I have the password/salt. I use a seedbox to download and transfer files to Google (Suites) Drive because my ISP has a data cap.
